Field and mapping

Surveying from boundary location to final staking

ITF performs a multitude of survey tasks, from initial boundary location, aerial control and accuracy-assessment surveys, and topographic surveys through final site construction staking. Our field crews use state-of-the-art equipment, including GPS Real Time Kinematic (RTK) systems and conventional total-station instruments with electronic data storage and handheld data collectors. All equipment is fully compatible with our integrated office CADD and coordinate-geometry hardware and software.

Our mapping department supports the field crews and performs the research needed to determine boundaries. It prepares land development maps, American Land Title Association (ALTA) surveys, records of survey, right-of-way surveys, legal descriptions and plats, encumbrance maps, and final construction survey support, and it interfaces with the many agencies involved to keep the land development process efficient.
